Jay Stollman has been a music industry professional for over 35 years. A multi-faceted instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist, Jay has been actively involved in every aspect of the music business, concentrating on composition, production, and live performance. As a partner in Kingsize Music, located in New York City, Jay has written, produced, and performed many songs for TV & film, most notably “Start with Today” and “America’s First Family”, the closing themes/promos for NBC’s TODAY SHOW. Jay and his partners at Kingsize music have been honored as winners of the prestigious Mobius Advertising Award for Best Original    
Music for TODAY’s “America’s First Family” theme/promo. The Mobius Advertising Awards are an international symbol of excellence and achievement honoring outstanding work in the field of advertising for television, radio, print, and package design. In addition, Jay has won the New York Festivals Award and the Cine Golden Eagle Award for his work on NBC’s TODAY SHOW. Jay’s music has been featured on productions on all major U.S. television networks, cable channels, and film studios. He has scored and/or placed music in feature films including CRADLE WILL ROCK, THE GURU, SCARY MOVIE 3, CATWOMAN, and WANNABEES. Jay has also composed music for major           
television shows, such as SEX & THE CITY, 48 HOURS, CBS EARLY SHOW, RIKKI LAKE, CHRIS ISAAK SHOW, ED, A&E’s BIOGRAPHY, DATELINE NBC, THE DISTRICT, MARTHA STEWART, DANCING WITH THE STARS and PBS GREAT PERFOMANCES, to name a few. Jay was, most recently, Managing Director of the Sony/ATV Production Music Library, overseeing the production of thousands of musical works for TV, film & various media.
